Audi Announces Updates for a New Model Year -- What Can We Expect from the Four Rings?

The short answer: more trim choices, design updates across the board, inside and out, expanded package options, higher-level personalization options, better availability of exclusive Audi advanced driver-assistance systems, and best of all, more standard equipment than ever. See what awaits under the hood and in-cabin for 2019 here at Audi Temecula.

There's a lot going on in Ingolstadt, Germany these days. According to a press release from Audi, many luxury favorites are getting a few enhancements that enthusiasts have been dreaming of.

The 2019 Audi A3, for example, will continue to be anything but entry-level. Its Premium Plus and Prestige trims will standardize full LED headlights, LED tail lighting, and dynamic rear turn signals, not to mention connectivity technologies like the Audi phone box, complete with wireless charging capability and a signal booster. Its Premium trim, on the other hand, will see the Audi smartphone interface come standard alongside new 17-inch, five-arm-design wheels, all-season tires, and park assist. Plus, an updated optional Convenience package for sedan and cabriolet styles will incorporate Audi side assist, an LED interior lighting package, and high-gloss aluminum window surrounds, with the last coming standard on cabriolet.

Step up to a brand best-seller like the 2019 Audi A4, and you can look forward to updated design and package options, from new standard front and rear S line bumpers to a new rear exhaust system sporting trapezoidal exhaust pipes. The 2019 A4 allroad Premium Plus is set to build in the Audi MMI® Navigation plus system with MMI touch handwriting capability as well as the Audi phone box, all standard, and both models will now feature two USB charging ports for rear passengers. Said packages will include, in Sport variants, aluminum ellipse inlays, and in Convenience iterations, Audi side assist and Audi pre sense® rear driver-assist systems.

Of course, there's plenty more to look forward to. The 2019 Audi A5 luxury coupe will get a few improvements, as will the 2019 Audi Q5 and Q7 compact and mid-size SUVs and the 2019 Audi TT sports coupe and roadster duo. Eager to learn more?
