Are You Ready for the Next Audi Q3? Check Out What's New and Exciting

The latest Audi compact SUV is coming back for a second generation, and it's soon to make its triumphant return to Audi dealerships here in Temecula, CA and elsewhere in the US. With more pronounced style on the outside, and coming a lot roomier and better-equipped on the inside, Four Rings enthusiasts here in Riverside County should have plenty to look forward to.

For one, the new Q3 will showcase a sportier exterior, a nod to its quattro® DNA, coming to a pinnacle across wide wheel wells, a long roof-edge spoiler, and steeply raked D-pillars in sizable air inlets and the Audi hallmark Singleframe grille. Plus, wedge headlighting with Matrix LED and adaptive high beam technologies should make for quite a striking accent.

Secondly, we can expect a fresh, driver-centric, and well-connected operating concept: digital displays just over 10 inches in size dovetailing the celebrated MMI touch infotainment centerpiece. The dash setup looks to be tilted ten degrees toward the driver, with ergonomic button locations augmented by specially angled, superbly comfortable seating and steering-wheel positions. Natural-language voice control, as well as an Audi smartphone interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, promises to keep on-the-road app access, entertainment, and more within easy reach, with wireless charging to keep your devices energized along the way. You can even find a connection to civilization when you need it in Wi-Fi hotspot support. Opt for an available MMI navigation plus system, however, and not only can you enjoy intelligent route planning based on feedback from previous travels. You can also take advantage of seamless interoperability with the Audi virtual cockpit, offering Google Earth readouts and more.

Sure, managing it all remotely via the myAudi app will remain a snap, but the true curios among the latest Audi advancements? For one, a dialog manager. It'll intelligently ask you relevant questions if necessary, allow for corrections, offer you choices and defer when interrupted, streamlining control to a tee. Secondly, Audi fleet swarm intelligence tech, which can forecast roadside parking availability, provide info on road hazards and speed limits, and more.

There's plenty more where these came from, too. The new Audi SUV's space concept got a bump, too, making nearly all interior dimensions larger and delivering anywhere from 18.7 to a segment-competitive 53.9 cubic feet of cargo space, with a three-level-adjustable load floor to help you make the most of it. Q3 will also offer safety tech at the vanguard of industry standards, from adaptive cruise assist, which brings together adaptive speed assist, traffic jam assist, and active lane assist functions, to four 360-degree cameras, a park assist feature, and more. These aren't to mention a choice of four turbo engines -- three gas, one diesel, with a 150 to 230 horsepower range, a selection of front- or quattro all-wheel drivetrain, six-speed manual or seven-speed S tronic transmission options, six-profile Audi drive select, and optional damper-controlled and sport-tuned suspensions.

Stay tuned for further updates, and for when the new Audi Q3 is expected to roll in here at Audi Temecula. In the meantime, stop by Temecula Center Drive and take a spin in the 2018 Q3 -- we'll be delighted to show you around what you can expect for a new model year!
